How to Measure for the Right Fit
There are two easy ways to find your ring size at home. For best results, we highly recommend Method 1.
> Method 1: Measure a Ring You Already Own (Most Accurate)
- Choose a Ring: Find a ring that fits your intended finger perfectly.
- Measure the Diameter: Place your ring on a flat surface and use a ruler to measure the inside diameter—the distance straight across the middle from one inside edge to the other.
- Find Your Size: Match your measurement to the “Inside Diameter (mm)” column in our chart to find your US size.
> Method 2: Measure Your Finger
- Get a Strip of Paper: Cut a thin, non-stretchy strip of paper about 10cm (4 inches) long.
- Wrap Your Finger: Wrap the paper snugly around the base of the finger you want to wear the ring on. Make sure it’s not too tight and can slide over your knuckle.
- Mark the Spot: Use a pen to mark the point where the paper overlaps to form a complete circle.
- Measure the Length: Unwrap the paper and lay it flat. Use a ruler to measure the distance from the end of the strip to the mark you made. This measurement is your finger’s circumference.
- Find Your Size: Compare your measurement to the “Inside Circumference (mm)” column in our chart to find the closest US size.
Important Tips for an Accurate Sizing
- When to Measure: Finger size can change slightly with temperature and time of day. For the most reliable measurement, we recommend sizing your finger at the end of the day when it is likely to be at its largest.
- A Note for UK & Australian Customers: Since we only offer whole US sizes, the corresponding UK/AU sizes in our chart are rounded to the nearest whole letter. Using the millimeter measurement will always give you the most accurate conversion.
- Consider Your Knuckle: If you know your knuckle is on the larger side, you may want to choose one size up to ensure the ring can slide on and off comfortably.
- When in Doubt, See a Pro: The most foolproof way to determine your ring size is to visit a local jeweler. They can measure you professionally, which is a quick and complimentary service in most stores.
